The Medicine Lodge / Re: quit brand name , grow organic tobacco

Cool, just be sure to read up on curing the leaf, there's alot of potentially toxic chems that are broken down thru the fermentation, roasting and cutting. Also burning/smoking destroys alot of that which is left and only so much is absorbed, depending on ingestion,
if you were to extract just the nicotine from one cigar and ingest the isolate, depending on your tollerance is know to be deadly, So be careful with unfermented green leaf, some have noticed becoming intoxicated just from picking it, depends how much and how long the exposure transdermally. peace pan

From what I remember reading up on peyote, it's growth range is from mid-east Mexico all the way up to and even into Canada. So, I don't doubt that others would if near some limestone out croppings in valleys forming microclimates. Also peyote are cold tollerant, maybe not a hard freeze, read some where they germinate under a couple of inches slow melting snow. Just saying.. so keep your eyes peeled for those limestone mountains. peace pan

The Cave / Re: Invention: Morphine-cannabis super-painkiller

Oh btw, I was doing some re-researching on ie reading and found an interesting tidbit of knowledge. It was the fact both cannabis and p. somnafernium are effected at which lattitude at which they are grown, ie the more north you live both plants express a ratio of higher codeine:morphine as with CBD:THC and those plants that are closer to the equator the oppsite is true, as with the poppy it's higher morphine:codeine and THC:CBD. This is when they were left to their own, there are exceptions of course but that's breeding.

fyi less is more with cacti peat sand rock and depending on the climate can make a huge diff ie humidity and light exposure. humitity can be hard on them, not that they like water but when to and how much depending on your mediium can prevent root rot the most common prob. sulfur powder can help if things go fungus/er under skin discoloration. look into isoalc and a blowdrier to make a sterile cut. and autoclave your subtraite ie soil with a pressure cooker or oven. look it up...peace

The grey area is the lancing and/or scoring the skin, is intent to extract the latex ie illegal  and manipulating/or reducing the poppy straw to an extract. otherwise an ornimental used for flower arrangement is or was availbile but it's been a few yrs so don't gum up yer  dried herbs..

When I lived in the desert I did much of no thinking and the quiet of mind, very profound once you get there but it's always there or nowhere for that matter. zen, bliss, rapture, illumination or self exploration w/o past influence. kinda funny how such a subjective experience can be shared and relate to. peace pan

I have to say my friend your Rock steady, with the radio,  much respect, I'm working my way out of the compost pile of my life. thanks man, Peace Pan

It's kinda how this and other fourms have had life / seed /rebirth and the loss.. but wouldn't it be nice to have the free for all seed exchange and such to be renewed, it's wabbit season and there might be a magic one. The plants reveal life to me better than myself. peace pan
