Resurrection, Now (my new book of poems) *just released*
« on: May 17, 2007, 05:08:33 PM »
Scriptor Press's RaiBooks project has been dormant for
three years & the new entry in its series has been half-made since at
least 2002 when I lived in Portland, Oregon (I even has a copy
of what the book in rough draft form looked like back then).

It is my pleasure to tell that my book of late ‘90s poems, Resurrection, Now,
is finally finished.

It is the sixth book in the RaiBooks series & I vow no such gap of
time shall pass between volumes again!

Thanks, man! It took so long to figure this one out, the right poems, the right graphics, it was years of not doing it before it came together in less than two weeks.

Lot of trippy vibes in them pages, be aware!

Thank you, WS! You know, it took me a long time to get this book finished. It's like its architecture was half-conceived, for years I'm telling you. Then it began to cohere, and I was just so tired of it being half-finished, and pushed to finish it. KD was instrumental in helping me with the book's graphic designs. Glad it's made, glad you could look at it. :)

I'm glad to see you are a published author, cenacle. Too bad you don't get the kind of free publicity that Maya Angelou gets. You could quit your day job. Best of luck for the future.

Not sure what you mean, Stoney. I've nothing against Angelou. My works are published by my press, as many years ago I decided two things: one, I didn't want anyone else telling me what to write or how; and two, I did not choose to seek profit for my work. It is freely written, and freely given, as I personally believe all art should be. Someday, maybe, some other world...

That's cool. Didn't mean to imply you were some sort of primitive capitalist. Not that there is anything wrong with the profit motive. Just glad you are getting published.
