Class Relax
« on: August 30, 2014, 05:48:48 AM »
Hello dear spf-ers

I teach in a jr/sr high school in the Western Negev. We've just been through our 3rd military operation in the past 6 years. Most of my students have lived most of their lives under rocket attack even when there's no official military operation.

So, for two years, I've been going into classrooms to facilitate morning meditations - to offer some techniques to deal with stress, anxiety or overly impulsive behaviour.

I'm working on an app that I call Class Relax. It's something meant to offer techniques to teachers wherever they are and it should be available within a year, but meanwhile, I'm working face-to-face in real time.
I'm looking for music especially cool for meditation - something that appeals to kids from 12 yrs - 18 yrs old.

If you have any ideas, or thoughts, please feel free to comment

Nailed a retread to my feet
and prayed for better weather...

Try checking out Mantaray - Numinous Island too.. Very good relaxing music. Or else Biosphere - Substrata

David & Steve Gordon do some really nice music, kind of jungle ambient. Works nice into the pores and the bones. I read to their music often on my radio show. Good vibey music :)
