Well senor is set to make his 4th damned appearance on this little charge... Never ceases to amaze me the waste of governmental types.... I'm fully expecting that either the prosecutor will decide not to go forward, or, the nice lady judge will declare the matter moot on a time issue.... I'm still standing fast for complete exhonoration..... Like Alfred E. Neuman put it: What Me Worry

I will admit to a certain sense of exhiliration in that I am completely innocent.. Of course, If the stars are somewhat misaligned and I am somehow found guilty, I'd be really let down... I guess what I'm saying is I have some bit of hope and prayer that actual justice will prevail in the court.... My, what a concept eh???

I doubt this was a jailing offense.

I think he's fighting a potential ticket and a lifetime ban from the park, neither being hanging nor jailing offenses. Well, maybe in Florida where chads are hung every now and then.
You folks need to remember that Sal usually rolls like a turtle with his house on his back. And he's got neither generator nor usb port up his ass...

Hey there folks.. 'Tis sal.. Thanks mucho for the concern.. Court went ok. Senor got his justice; even have a piece of paper in my wallet that declares that if the police seek to tresspass me they are in violation of the judges order... They did not see fit to rename the park after me, nor did I even get a gazeebo cited in my honor.. Guess I'll be ever traumatized by that... --- As far as it being a jailable offense; would 'ya believe they actually could give a person a year in the county for such a thing??? The reason I have been absent is that the Sunday prior to my court appearance, I had the misfortune of having a cop come into my little piece of woods and demand that I vacate.. Now, I could not say no, as I was definitely tresspassing on clearly posted property.. The thing that ticked me off is that the cop gave me a choice of either being taken to jail or I could take my tent and all my belongings and throw them in a dumpster about a couple of hundred yars away... Jeez, can 'ya imagine more of an asshole cop??? So,,, senor had to throw away everything he owned rather than go to jail... Then, I had to go about finding another crash spot... Well, I found another spot, and as they say, life goes on...Thanks again for the kind thoughts........

What a crazy story.
Couldn't you throw everything in the dumpster and then just come back and collect what you REALLY wanted?
Piece of parer for your troubles, eh?
congrats.

I guess I could have gone back and retrieved my stuff, but the truth of the matter is that a friend and I were drunk as skunks when the ordeal happened and I was so disgusted that I tossed all the goods and walked away... I mean, sure, it's a minor setback, but I'm figuring I can just go about acquiring the crap again... That's one of those things about being "residentially challenged" ie homeless; If 'ya lose all your stuff, it's really only 1-2 hundred bucks worth of stuff, so not that big a deal to replace..To paraphrase Janis,,,, Freedoms' just another way of having nothin' left to lose
