Hello everyone,

It’s an exciting time in the world, there is the hope of a change in American politics
that will rumble throughout the world, and this contrasts with the seeming collapse
of national economies all over the world. I think the two could play out together
in a way that will bring us better days, that what Bush and his crime family hath
wrought can be slowly repaired by President Obama. No miracles on the horizon, just
the prospect of grownups taking the keys to the car again, finding the road, reminding
us we don’t have to live in terror of . . . terror.

Into these strange hours comes Cenacle | 66 | October 2008, an issue with contents
freshly made as recently as days ago. It was very important to get this issue out
into this maelstrom, before November 4th Election Day comes.

* New fiction by G.C. Dillon
* New poetry by Daniel Schroyer, Ric Amante, and Judih Haggai
* “M and N: Mouth and Nose” by Ralph H. Emerson
* “Mother Sea: The Grey Beginnings” by Rachel Carson
* “Will Harvard Drop Acid Again?” by Peter Bebergal
* Works of art and photography by Gwyllm Llwydd, Victor Vaneck, Raymond & KD
* My own contributions include new poetry, new fixtion, and two prose contributions

Enjoy the new issue!

If you are in the U.S., I hope you cast your vote. If you are not, pay attention
on November 4 to what statements Americans make about the future of their country,
their government, and everybody’s world. This election matters a lot. I don’t often
any more believe in the idea of right versus wrong, but in this case, I personally
believe the right thing, the only thing, is to elect Barack Obama the next President.
I will proudly cast my vote for him.

Peace,
Raymond
