I think what you're talking about is tissue culture/meristem propagation. Most named orchid hybrids are reproduced this way and I believe that a lot of cultivars of commercially important plants are also propagtaed by this method. Salvia is reproduced so easily by simple cuttings, It would seem unlikely anyone would go to the trouble of cloning it this way. Then again, you never know. Good luck with your search.
