Hey folks,

I have a few luna clones which are not doing too well. Growth is slow, and the leaves have a very light green color.

I know that this is often indicative of a nitrogen deficiency, but I don't think this is the issue. I use fertilizer (seaweed) on the plants, and the mother plant is treated to the same regiment and is fine, as are all of my other plants (chacruna, calea, H. salicifolia, etc).

Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be? Again, these plants are in the same environment as another luna clone which is doing well.

What lighting are you using? Indoors/outdoors? too bright maybe? Daylength correct? Dropping light levels outside really slow plants down.

also, nitrogen uptake is really influenced by acidity, plants have a hard time getting N when its too acid.

and then the old,,,"who knows why factor" Identical conditions produce....VARIETY!!!

They're in natural light this time of year, although they'll be moving indoors soon, as the weather is getting a little chill. They get dappeled morning and afternoon light.

For what it's worth, the light-green plants are right next to the lush one.

And I dropped a pumpkin once. Don't think it was good for it :)

Pumpkin as in on top of them?

 anyway, those light levels might be resonsible for slowing growth ....they ahve been dropping since June 21....5 minutes aday or so.....flower tiime!! I'm doing some accidental cuttings, but they don't look too happy.
