(subject to revision)

Rule #1 Play nice

Rule #2 No trading or selling of 'illegal' or questionable materials.
(Rule #2 subject to country of origin & must state intention to trade only where legal)

Rule #3 This is a TRADE forum, not a SELL forum. However we are trying something new here to see if we can spark interest. Established or long time members will be allowed to within reason post the occasional for sale thread. Here are the specifics:

1 year and 50 posts to have a selling url in your sig
1 year and 75 posts to have an ad once a month

No spamming.

PARTIAL LIST OF BANNED TRADE ITEMS FOR THOSE WHO RESIDE IN THE U.S.

Dried trichocereus cactus flesh (live specimens are acceptable.)
lophophora specimens/seeds (except in the few states where legal)
Etroxylum coca specimens/foilage/seeds
Catha Edulis i.e. Khat Foilage/live specimens (seeds O.K. to trade)
Tabernanthe iboga, foilage/extracts/seeds/specimens
Research chemicals, i.e. 2c-i, DMT, exc.
Psilosybian mushrooms, (with exception to the trade of prints for I.D. purposes in states where legal.)
Opiates/poppy pods- (poppy seeds are acceptable trade items.)
dragibus, dragibine or any of it's constituents are strictly forbidden to trade.
Cannabis, lsd, dxm, ghb, mdma, meth...... (I assume these and others like them are obvious nono's.)

Woot to Avery. Has Laughing Willow left us for ever? He was the first one to ever send me a PM with news of the Sacred Dragobine.

Neonaut, wo worries. You just need 17 more posts before you can sell.

Since selling is a sensitive issue, some people are against any selling at all, we should be picky on who we allow to sell on SPF. Even having a url in your sig to a site that sells stuff is a form of advertising. Posting a list of stuff for sale is more so. It has been mentioned that if we allow someone to sell on this site, we are in effect endorsing them. That's the way it will be seen by the public. If the people on this board rip anyone off, it will reflect badly on all of SPF and it's members.

How about:

1 year and 50 posts to have a url in your sig
1 year and 75 posts to have an ad once a month

The 75 posts is a compromise between those who wanted at least 100 posts and those who thought 50 would be enough. 100 posts isn't very many. We would have to keep an eye on them and if there were complaints and the seller couldn't work it out, we may revoke the selling privileges of anyone. That doesn't mean 1 complaint means they are out, it would depend and we could vote on it if need be. If somebody spent a year and did 75 posts, they aren't going to throw that away without making an effort to make things right because they know they can't just start another name, turbo post a little and start selling again.

Many sites do not allow any sales at all. Many do not allow any trading at all. We are being very liberal with this policy and I'd like to see some safeguards in place to ensure it works out.

Comments?
