Have you bioassyed this clone? Or is that a guess on appearance?

Don't make false statements.

I believe that's a Trichocereus glaucus, from Sacred Succulents, it's a very nice clone!

Here's a full grown one... http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2024801820075508785XoCWJq

it is thought to be entheogenically potent by the probably misinformed seller...

the red spines and blueish skin tone are similar to that of the legendary true peruvians, i dont know if any simpleton like yourself has heard of such tales, noob :P

it will be bioessed when my first 4 pups reach 8 inches, then ill eat one, or wait till ones 12 and eat 8, saving the top 4...

feel free to ignore pessimists like teotz and trust the cactus spirit to make you a better person, sorry teo, this cactus rocks, even for a collecter!

p.s. i mean no harm, just play

There is no way to tell the potency of a clone...

And never trust somebody that wants to sell you something!

Now I never said that wasn't a nice clone, I never said it COULDN'T be entheogenicly potent (but the trade forums is NOT the place to talk about such)

It does indeed look as tho it falls outside the realm of the normal bullshit Trichocereus "peruvianus" (cuzcoensis) that everybody sells, but I think it may be closer to Trichocereus fulvilanus or deserticola, than pachanoi or the other

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1313/823541067_c70b2c60bb.jpg?v=0

You have no idea of the scope of the Trichocereus genus, which spreads all the way from Ecuador all the way to Argentina & Chile, know your fuckin' cacti NOOB (God how I hate that word).

There's a really good book, called a "Cactus Oddessy" and of course, there's Mr.Trout's and Mr.Smith's books. Great books if you want to learn, but ya gotta do some reading!

that looks more like a hawaiinicus i know than any peruvians ive seen. has a ton of spines with length, and the ribs/notching scream familiarity from the red spined hawaiinicuus pup, speaking of which, wanna swap next pups?
hawiianicus for peruvians?

regardless of thier entheogenic potency its a beautiful cactus without blemish, and so are its immaculate pups

after eating so many brigdesii's and a few pachanoi, id would be honored if ate my own grown with shamanic focus, cactus.

once again yall, ignore teotz he just really wants my cactus and refuses to attest to thier awesomeness :)

jk. again teotz, with a light heart and a spirit of play, just let this roll off your keyboard mate,

p.s. keen on some miracle fruit yet?

It's Trichocereus huancoensis, not hawaiinicus

It's from Huanco, Peru-

http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2345786330075508785iBDuMK

...and it looks nothing like that! It's spination is completely different, and Huancoensis is really thick, while this clone is rather thin.

Pretty sure no cacti grow in the state of HW, lol.

Again, no discussion of entheogenic properties in the trade forum.

Never tryed it, I'd like to tho.

Please just stop trolling man, it's not funny.

Again, Nice cactus tho!

I'd let those get about 3-5 inchs tall before cutting/trading them.[/url]

Just look at how many different Trichocereus species there are!

There's 100s, not just peruvianus, pachanoi and bridgesii!

Play nice, people. There is no need to talk about "false statements" because you have a different opinion. Present your own opinion and let people judge.

Well Suicybe... why don't you show me a pic of a Trichocereus which you believe your "Trichocereus peruvian" is closely related to?
