Funny that you mention these...I had planted some coleus in a bed last year, love their freaky appearance. They bloomed and died with the first frost, so I pulled their shriveled stalks out. Now this summer, guess what is volunteering here and there in the same bed? Coleus, apparently from seeds that fell through the mulch.
